Blooms and one bird....

I just love watching all our Spring/Summer birds
that don't stay here year-round.

Especially the colorful ones.

Like this little goldfinch:

And of course,with Spring
comes spring flowers!

My primrose did especially well this year:

And the tulips were wonderful too!:

And the combination of primrose and tulips definitely sing SPRING!:

Lovely, romantic forget-me-nots:

Raindrops on tulip petals, oh MY!:

Yellow primrose:

Now, these tulips have all been through their life cycle and are only memories;
That is the only thing I don't like about Spring.

It is over before you know it!

Its true, the flowers of spring come and go so quickly, but don't they all? My peonies lasted little more than a week it seems. They just can't handle the rain we've had.

This fall I'm planting a bunch of Tulips in the garden!

Gorgeous flowers!! I love the raindrops on them. That Gold Finch is beautiful!! I won't be seeing any this year. I quit buying the Finch Socks for out front. Let someone else buy them. I only go out front when I am going to the store. And the lady that I bought them for has moved now into a nursing home. She was the reason I bought them. To give her some pleasure while looking out her window. I'm sure all the Goldfinches are eating at some other feeder around the area.
It's been raining here for a few days. Have a nice day Joan!!

Beautiful memories of spring! I love your raindrops on the tulips, the droplets look like little jewels. Great shot of the Goldfinch Joan, he is a very handsome fellow.

Absolutely beautiful photos. Those little blue forget-me-nots are so dainty, and the primrose and tulips were lovely too.

I agree with your comment about spring. The spring blooms and colors leave wayyyyy too quickly!
