Madeira Beach around dusk. Those two chairs are calling me today, how about you?:
A longer shot of the same spot:
Seagulls admiring the sunset:
Another chair awaits you!:

love the Florida scenes, all are very familiar since i love only a short way from these scenes. these are the reason we live here. can't wait on savannah since that is where I used to live before florida.
Each of these pictures is beautiful, but it was the Hibiscus which, for me was the winner.
you know...i know that beach...love all the colorful flowers!!! i wanna go play in the water now...
Joan, My favorite photo is of the seagulls admiring the sunset! However, they are probably thinking, 'Well Crap, now who will feed us?'
I think your flower is a camilla...the leaves don't look like a begonia, but what do I know"?
You mean that first flower wasn't a rose? What do I know! Great photos...make me long for the snow to be gone!
Joan, I am so missing the beach, the roar of the surf and the wonderful sunsets. Your pix are wonderful especially the sunset.
We are back in Southern Michigan, cold and snow covered, but I know that Spring is coming soon.
xoxo

nice photos! Florida has been kind to us this winter with wonderfully warm weather! Looks like you have left the area already>.why so soon?
I love the seagulls admiring the sunset- beautiful!
I could be wrong (who, moi??) but I believe the first red flower is a red gardenia.
Wish I was on those beaches right now! Great photographs - loved what you did w/ the flowers!
That's a camelia Joan and a pretty nice one too. Love the photos but I'm waiting on the ones from Savannah...!
I truly love Florida, it's a far cry from MN giggle. I cried at your post. I know I am not alone. I feel for you also.
Such heavenly pictures!!
I just got back from FLA as well and did a blog post. Fun shots!
I think a camellia too..it is beautiful..so nice on a cold winters day:)
I love the contrast between the cactus and the flower below it. And I'll take any one of those chairs with their beautiful surroundings, please!
I can hear those chairs calling my name! Beautiful flowers, I agree with the camellia also.
Savannah, I'm looking forward to those. When I lived in GA I drove over to Savannah every time I could get away for the weekend. Hope you had fresh shrimp on the river front. Or maybe a walk in Bonaventure cemetery?
