We have a WINNER!....of the November's FREE PHOTO CONTEST...theme of: CLOUDS

It is getting hard for me to find judges willing to judge
these monthly contests
because it is getting so difficult to pick a winner!

pick a winner, we did!!

for the theme of CLOUDS!!!:

Congratulations Pat T.!!!!

Pat's blog is called: "Extremely Overdue" and he has a few other blogs too.

If you haven't had the chance to stop by his blog, do so!
Not only is he a heck of fabulous photographer, but he is an excellent writer too!

Special Mentions also go to:
--Larry B.

Once again, a BIG thankyou to the judges and to every single one of you that sent in photographs! You all did a marvelous and beautiful job and continue to give our judges anxiety attacks as to picking just one winner!

By popular request, I will be continuing the monthly free photo contests in 2011, with only a tweaking of some of the rules, which I will post when I announce them at the end of this year.

Remember to still submit your winning photo for the DEC. 2010 FREE PHOTO CONTEST.

The theme for Dec. is:

You know how sometimes we see a photo taken by somebody else and wish we could have been there with our camera? Some of those were certainly present in this month's contest. That makes the selection even more sweet! Thanks to the judges and all the entrants. Thanks especially to you Joan...

For the sake of information. The ocean is just the other side of the hill shown in my photo. Sometimes, when it all lines up just right, the sunset is doubled in intensity by the light reflecting off the water. When this happens the clouds seem to catch fire.
