Beautiful shots! Not sure if I enjoy bluejays or cardinals more. They are both so great looking in the snow.

Happy New Year!

Joan, All I can say is 'Wow!' just stunning! I had to call my husband in the room to look at such marvelous beauty!
So I want to ask you...what type of bird feed do you use to attract them? Obviously what we are offering they have NO interest in...
Happy New Year to you!

Yes, I love their color and their distinctive shape.

WOW - your photos are fantastic. My only issue with those beauties is that they are food hogs! They have terrible manners and don't like to share with the other birds.

Blue Jays are such pretty birds... Ours disappear from here in winter --but always come back Spring -Fall. Great pictures, Joan... I love seeing them all 'puffed up'..... I know they are COLD.

Happy New Year.
Hugs,
Betsy

If you hear a bump in the night in the next few days just go back to sleep. It will be me downstairs stealing your camera. They are wonderful shots and I hope you and hubby have a great new year.

BEAUTIFUL!!!
I LOVE the colors. These look nothing like the Bluejays we have, ours are drab in comparison.
