and the reason we blog is because "we can't help ourselves" when it comes to photography and then we MUST show it. Wild flowers are my favorite of all flowers and you found some real beauties. the little bird is not familiar to me

I love the deep grooves on the stark white petals of the Trilliums and the bright yellow stamens. I can see why you love them so.
Now the vulture...it is still a beauty in its own way.
All great photos, as usual.

I am happy with all the trillium photos because, NOW, maybe I'll remember what they look like when I go wandering down some forest path! And, yes, those vultures are U-G-L-Y, with a capital "U"!

That last trillium shot was outstanding!

The trillium is such a dainty looking flower as is the wild strawberry! I think they all are quite beautiful. You don't need a showy bloom.

I don't have any bird photos that can rival yours!

Trilliums are one of my favorites too.. I have a couple in my little woodland garden.. One is white and one is a dark purple.. almost black.. I always feel a special joy when they bloom every spring.. Its a special kind of love.. :D

I love trillium. And I hope to find a "interesting" bird picture I took a few years ago.

Love how delicate those flowers look. It's as if nature paints with the finest of brushes.

Can't help ya with the type of bird that is, darn it. I need to get me a bird book AND a flower book I think!

Great photos, girl!

Trilliums are the prettiest little flower and a sure sign of spring. I love all of your springy flowers, birds and dragonflies.

Now I just have to find a bird who will sit still long enough for me to get a photo.
