For those of you that can't read the small print, the circled one says:"3:19pm: Retail theft, shoplifter stealing cat treats, 100 block of Coles Drive."
What? You say? A cat burgler???????
Ok...so the graphic is really a racoon, and not a cat...but it was the closest I could find!! :-)
Yes, I know. A HUMAN got caught shoplifting, not the cat. But hey, a cat's gotta eat too, right???

I need my glasses checked - I didn't notice that was a racoon!!!
isn't small town living just so fun? LOL. Great post and I am glad your all home safe and sound!
Hi Darlin'! You have an award (sort of) on my blog. I've missed all my buddies.
I loved this one, it should be a cartoon.
I thought it was a cat until you said it was a raccoon. That's when I noticed the striped tail. The real cat burglar must have a very good cat, to be willing to steal treats for it.
Wonder if the treats were for the human or the cat. Ha! I hope people aren't getting that hungry!
Then it should be a cat in human custume that got caught shoplifting.
GrannyAnn: Yep. Me too. As I was going thru the graphics,I thought: PURRRFECT. Then, I saw the striped tail. Oh well, some cats have striped tails, right?
Debb: Thanks! I don't know about the "sound" part! ha
Polly: How cool! I will check out your blog! (I haven't done my morning blogging stalking yet).
A.J.: Half of our police reports could be cartoons! Stay tuned for more. I usually post them about once a week or so!
Ratty: Either that or they are just an animal too. ha
Loree: When we had cats, I opened a can of tuna, only to discover it was cat food tuna. You never know! ha
Rainfield61: Wish I could have found THAT graphic somewhere to use! ha I know, you were hoping for that sexy cat woman one, weren't you? WEREN'T YOU??????
What about the "threatening e-mail" my eyes strain to see there? What did the e-mail do? Pull a knife? Charge at someone? Start throwing punches wildly??
I too thought that was a cat...and sometimes, I think catfood is tunafish...
Sigh.
Insanity Kim: Yeah, there was one in yesterday's paper that said someone reported a "threatening e-mail" again too. It was probably an e-mail ad for weight loss pills. hahaaaaaa (Man, NOBODY better threaten to take away my homemade apple pie!)
