Ribbit, ribbit.................

I like frogs...
always have.

So, of course, when I see them, I photograph them...

Here are some shots I got in the woods the other day.

Enjoy!!

I think I will name him: Oscar:

This little guy was peeking out in the raindrops:

I loved this froggie swimming and peeking above the surface of the water:

Here is one for the froggie-butt lovers out there:

But I still heart my Oscar:

I caught the action of the rain and this frog swimming as fast as he could...
go, Froggie, GO!!:

I know, I know....
I probably need a life.

But frog watching is kind of fun!

Try it sometime!!!

I love frogs too but I never get to see as many as that. It is proof that the environment is healthy there. Oscar is froggy cute but in the first pic before I read the text I thought it was an aligator's head if you look at the frog's backside that's the aligators nose just coming out of he water hee hee

WE all have our favorite things to photograph! I don't care to pick up frogs and toads, but I would photo from a distance!

The ripples around oscar make these photos so neat!

if i were there i would be watching Oscar also. he is really a handsome frog. I have never seen big frogs like these, ours are small, toads are not very big either. these look like monster frogs compared to our guys.

Lovely frog pictures. I like them, too, thought it's been a while since I saw them in our garden pond.

How can a frog look like an Oscar? But you're right, he does! I heart him, too!! :-)

Admit it, you're looking for a prince.

lovely!

But I think I prefer my frogs on film... not too close to me. :p

Your iris posts were beautiful, but how great to even have the opportunity to see these frogs and capture great photos.

You got some great shots here! There were so many frogs in the pond by the campground we stayed at but they always ducked in the water when they heard me approach!

I do enjoy a good frog, but I heart my toads! Yes, I'm a confessed toad lover. I sure hope you get some good toad shots one day, too. Not that I don't like frogs, too. ;)

I love frogs, too. My frog pond is attracting almost a dozen in this dry clime. It's almost time to go to sleep, but I will see them in spring!!!!

You had to work really hard to get these shots! Frogs don't like to sit still while people photograph them. Thanks for the great shots.

Yes frog watching is nice but i really love your Oscar photos with only top body colored green, the submerged is brown. The first photo is so cute, and i love your title very much!

I haven't seen a frog in so many years. I love them. Used to catch a lot of them when I was a little girl. And Polywogs. Not sure if that's the way it's spelled..LOL What beautiful photos!!! I really enjoyed them.
