Snow Snaps

Today,
I have more random pictures of snowy scenes
and
U.P. scenes of winter for you.

I loved how the icicles came out of the moss in this shot:

And this one:

In the last few blogposts,
I have shown you icicles hanging from rock bluffs.

This shot shows you some of the bluffs along the snowy road
where I took some of them:

An early morning shot of the sun just coming out
and a tree full of Starlings:

From a distance,
Starlings look all black.

But in reality,
they are speckled with color:

I spotted this fun mailbox,
full of snow:

(I want one, don't you??)

Snowy bluffs of rocks and pines:

I hope you are enjoying winter....
it really does have its own beauty.

Gorgeous! We've gotten a couple of storms that dumped 2 to 4 inches at a time...but I'm hoping for a big snowfall total sometime next week!

I love those cold looking photos of the icicles. Starlings are pretty birds really but I'm glad I don't have many around at this time. They'd eat all the food too fast. I got enough birds here..Ha! I do love that mailbox..It's so cute!!
We are in for a very cold weekend. Snowed overnight and more lake effect snow coming in this afternoon till tomorrow morning. Brrrr! Glad I'm inside!! Take care!!

It looks like a winter wonderland. I want one of those mailboxes, that is so cool. I don't have a place to put it but I still want one.

No snow here right now, it's raining and in the forties.
