On our first trip out to take winter photographs,
we were still in our little neighborhood
and passed a house
that has an old car in the front yard.
It was filled with snowfall from the night before and
I LOVED it!:
I had to do it in Sepia
and
dream it up a bit closer:
Then we headed out to a road that
is across the lake from us.
The road had pines laden with snow
and
this old cabin:
I loved this old
leaning
pine tree, full of snow:
Christmas card
branches of snow:
Love the tracks on
this
little road
in the snow:
One more shot of my favorite gate
with its lampost:
Nobody sneeze under this branch!:
But it does look like Mother Nature did a snow sculpture for us on the branch, doesn't it?

We haven't got a flake of snow either here or on the ground. It has all stayed in the High Country, so thank you for these wonderful shots!

Those are great pictures...every one of them is post card worthy. I think your photos should be on the Pure Michigan ads!! You make me want to come to the UP all the time!!
Beautiful Joan!
It's nice to see that you don't let the weather keep in you indoors! I'm not sure what I'd do...
You definitely have an eye for capturing the best shots!
How Beautiful Joan, I can't wait to show Gram these pics...my friend and I are admiring them this morning....I absolutely love the picture of that little cabin!
These are just great--especially the car scene. Lovely pictures! It's raining here--not as good for picture-taking!
It's sno-wonderful!
These are all gorgeous ! I especially like the second and third pictures. Thankyou, as here in St Petersburg FL we don't have any snow! It's been cold enough the past few nights to have it snow, though!
Choosing sepia for the car shots was perfect. Loved the dreamy one too!
Gorgeous, Joan.... What great pictures you take... Love the old car, and love that pine tree with the blue sky behind it. But--my fav is the one showing the old cabin. It's fabulous!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
So very beautiful. It truly is a winter wonderland. Have a happy new year Joan.
You almost make me want to play in the snow.
Almost.
Interesting? The car may be no more visible in the next day.
Joan, These shots are magnificent but my favorite is the old car smothered in the white stuff!
Great job!
Sepia - what an interesting idea for the photos! They certainly 'shine' in sepia. Love the color ones, too. Like J.J. says - almost makes me want to play in the snow. Almost.
very nice photos, Christmas card quality for sure
Your photos are wonderful - and snowy! I like the old-timey feel of the sepia.
Another car lover here, that is a great dreamy sepia shot. Everything is so beautiful when coverd with snow, lovely shots Joan.
Happy New Year!
I have to admit these snowy photographs are so beautiful. I love looking at them. I am just so glad that you are taking these pictures and sharing them with us. I would not want to live in or around all this snow!
They are all so beautiful. I bet it was cold outside when you took them. I am tired of snow already.
What great winter photos. I love the old car photos and with Sepia it looks like it was a very old photograph...Love all the others also. You sure have a lot of snow. We don't have much at all right now and it's been warm. 48 degrees today! Happy New Year!!
