Is There Anything Cuter than Baby Geese?

All baby animals and birds
look adorable.

We had a geese family
stop by our dock
this spring.

When I saw the babies,
I KNEW I had to take photographs.

Although the Mama Goose
kept her eye
on me
(and gave me the stink eye a few times)
I kept a relatively
safe distance
and
used my zoom to catch their adorableness.....

Enjoy!

Don'tcha just wanna pet these soft downy heads?:

Mom and Dad with the crew:

Giving the youngins a swimming lesson:

Looks like Mom and Dad have their hands (wings?) full:

Beauty in the grass:

Help me Rhonda!
I want one!:

Fuzzy and thirsty:

Look at their fuzzy little butts!:

Oh. My.

Like all parents..
we wish
we could keep
our babies young forever.

But, time goes on.
Luckily, in time, these babies will have babies for us all to adore too.

That's what is so nice about Nature.

They are cute aren't they? I took some picture of baby geese and baby swans a few weeks ago. The mamas were letting me know not to come any closer!

You are so right; they are adorable. We have a hatch of quail in our yard and I am so enjoying watching them grow up. From marshmallow sized fuzzy hatchlings, they are now softball sized and scamper in and out of the bushes trying to hide. They do grow up so quickly, but if we're lucky we'll have a late hatch and can watch another generation grow up before winter.

Such nice family and baby portraits and they don't even have to get all dressed up and worry about spilling anything on their outfits. Lovely, lovely, lovely and they make you feel good all over.

You got so many adorable photos of these babies! I'm trying to restrain myself from talking baby talk to the baby geese photos of yours - lol! I would want to keep one too!!

Our local Home and Farm stores sell baby ducks and chicks. They don't get a large amount but people who have ponds in the country buy them. And the chicks for eggs.
Your photos are so fun to see.

Cher: you are welcome...yes there is always a lot of life on our lake or beside the lake..we love living on a lake.

Faye: Sometimes we gotta get in our car and travel a ways to find some wildlife to shoot with my camera too. ha

Ruma: What a nice thing to say..thanks!

Joanna: me too, but you'd have mama duck chasing you and nipping you. ha

Nensa: thanks so much.

Loree: that is so true.

Biana: Thanks--they were so cute I could have stayed there all day.

Shelley: I wanted to coo at them too, but they were already too aware of my presence so I tried to be very quiet so they'd stay near for me to photograph. h a

L.D.: that is a great compliment..thanks!
