I still have some early summer photos to share with you.
I have taken some photos of my garden flowers
with some hummingbird photos for you.
This is one of my "lemon lilies":
A yellow bearded iris. I love the fuzzy parts of the flowers above the beard hanging down:
A little clump of these tiny white flowers were growing wild in our lawn.
I dug them out and placed them in my garden, where they have gone wild there
and make a lovely ground cover.
Does anyone know their name?:
Another flower that was given to me, it is a perennial that flourishes every year.
I am sorry to say I don't know it's name either!! (I'm a flower lover, not a flower expert!) ha:
This is a columbine, that I DO know! :0}
Another columbine caught in the shadows:
A hummingbird closeup:
Such a cutie pie:
I hope you have a chance to
go out and smell some flowers today
maybe see some birds too!
Time is getting shorter!

The hummingbird looks like he's wearing a flower necklace! How pretty!
Those white wildflowers look like some type of daisy.
Lovely photos, all!
These are lovely! Maybe I will go outside and smell the flowers. xx
My hummer flowers are either past blooming or getting ready to bloom, and yesterday a cute little guy came by. I quick ran out to fill my hummingbird feeder and waved it at him and said to come back! He hasn't been back yet, but I love them so much! Your columbine picture is just beautiful (the one with the bloom in the light). Oh, well, ALL of them are great, what am I saying?
It is good to go outside to smell flowers.
Beautiful blossoms! And what a shot of the hummingbird!
Hi Joan, Great pictures.... Love your "YALLER" lily and that Iris is gorgeous.... I also love your Columbine.
We finally have some hummingbirds here--but I can't get any pictures YET....
Finally got a little rain here today!!! YEAH RAH.
I HOPE I can get out and smell the flowers before they are all gone!! Nice shots!
Beautiful photos, as usual.
The little white flowers are "snow in summer". I don't know the botanical name. The magenta one is a perennial geranium. These are true geraniums, whereas the flowering plants we usually give that name are actually pelargoniums.
Joan, I believe the white flowers are Field Chickweed(Common) and the pink ones look like Wild Geraniums! Your photos are always special!
Stunning floral photos.
I admire flowers, but I
can never identify them.
All your flowers are beautiful but ca't help with the names I'm afraid. Love the little hummingbird - so pretty - what a joy to see them in your garden. A x
Hummingbirds are so precious and cute. The flowers are very beautiful too. Sorry I do not know an names.
SO pretty!!! Love that hummingbird picture!
I love your flower photos and that Hummingbird is adorable. There are some around this building but not where I can see them.
Lovely flowers but the hummingbird really is what captured my heart. He is so beautiful.
Linda and Wanda are correct. The white one is Common Chickweed, it will grow in patches and blooms off and on during the summer. If you look at this plant in the moonlight you will be impressed!
The second one is a Perennial Geranium..there are many different colors..the one you have is beautiful! It also blooms off and on all summer and if you watch carefully it may actually have babies in the area..so keep a watch for little ones to transplant elsewhere.
I love the simplicity and the pureness of the yellow Iris..stunning:)
The little hummer is so cute. I am finally starting to see some in our yard. I love that lemon lily.
