Yet more Color and U.P. Beauty!

Today,
I am continuing to share pictures
of
our awesome
autumn....

By now these leaves have all fallen off
our trees!!

Color on the river!:

Looking out at Lake Superior
and a bay...
hardly any color here, but a gorgeous spot!:

Colored bluffs over Teal Lake, in Negaunee, Michigan:

While at my brother's lake (Lake Medora)
near Copper Harbor,
I was scanning the lake with my zoom lens
and was thrilled
to see
THIS!:
Yes!! It is a lone LOON!!

Another river of color, the Pesheekee River:

Another golden road:

Waterfall falling from golden, sunlit woods:

I miss the autumn leaves
already...
and they just have fallen off this past week......

If you still  have autumn leaves where you are,
I hope you get to go out
and enjoy them today!

Loved the level at which you took the stunning waterfall photo...the smmoothness of the water's edge and the spot of reflected golden trees.

I'm going back out to Peace Valley this weekend with my camera, If the look of the trees around here are any indication, it should be in full color by now!

I also captured a loon with my camera last weekend, but I didn't post it.

So good if I can be there.

Oh my gosh, I envy that part of being gone from MN. It's the fall colors. Thanks for a glimpse. And I am excited I can finally leave a comment. My end probably.

Love the waterfall. You should win your own contest.
So far our native maples seem to just be going brown. Some years we have more color than others, probably weather related, but hard to predict. Ornimental street and yard trees are beginning their color show here. Autumn color will last here well into November.

Glorious colours this time of year. Although, the bright greens of spring are great, too. So are the stark colours of winter... :-)

Cheers from Cottage Country !

The golden road is breathtaking. In the waterfall photo I see a reflection of the sky and trees (top of the falls).
