Goat's Beard? and Other Garden Flowers back in Summer!

Sights and scenes from my summer garden
for you today.....(and a few stolen from other's gardens!)

The blooms are long gone now, but I will remember their beauty for a long time, thanks to photography!

These are blooms on a bunch of bushes in our yard by the lake. Someone told me they were Goat's Beard.
Are they right?:

If they aren't Goat's Beard, does anyone know what they are???

These are Musk Mallow and they come in light pink and dark pink:

Orange Lilies:

Rose profile!:

The dark pink Musk Mallow:

A hybrid Stargazer Lily:

These were NOT in my garden. But I wish they WERE!!
Aren't they the neatest flower EVER?:

Okay...I promise this is the END of all my flower garden posts
until next spring....

I may sneak a few in now and then in some other posts during the winter,( just to get over the snow blues),
but I know you are tired (by now!) of all of the series I did on flowers.

So, as I am out taking autumn photos still, I will bring you something else next post, I promise!!

They look like goat's beard flowers to me. I have a plant in my garden; but it's about a quarter of the size of the ones you photographed. Thanks for sharing.

I had never heard the term "goat's beard;" it seems appropriate, though. The profile of the rose is stunning and I love the lilies, too!

I don't think it's Goats Beard. GB isn't nearly as pretty. However, I can't tell you what the flower really is. Wish I could help further.

Each photo is breathtakingly beautiful. I have never seen goats beard or the flower in the last photo. I am awe struck.

No I am not tired of these beauties. Photography is so wonderful, the flowers may fade and drop, but the beauty lives on in pictures. Thanks. I LOVE that rose profile.

All of your beautiful summer flowers are making me a little sad. It got so cold and dark here so fast, and I just can't get used to it.
Today we worked in the yard, beginning the process of cutting everything down and clearing beds for winter cleanup and mulching. I guess summer really is long gone.

It is most likely False Goats Beard or Sorbaria sorbifolia. If not then it is some kind of spirea. Not many shrubs have the five petaled flowers with stamens that are so long..it is not your regular Goatsbeard..they have elongated clusters of flowers.
I loved the photo of the rose..it is stunning:)

I never tire of pretty flowers, post them as often as you like. I'm not sure about the white flower but they are beautiful by any name.

I do know the flower in your next to last shot is a Cranesbill. And the last one, I want that in my garden too!
