Flowers and more flowers!

I have some photos from garden flowers
and
flowers in the woods
today
for you!!

Actually,
this first photo
is a thimbleberry bush where the flowers have gone now and the very raw (not ripe yet) thimbleberrries are forming:

Here is what the blossom looked like before the berries form:

A close up of my Iris in my garden...I loved this variety..I call in my "rusty Iris".
I have no idea of its formal name:

Another shot of one:

The whole flower:

These musk mallows grow all over here in the woods and beside the highway.
We took some white ones and some pink ones and transplanted them into my garden.
They do well there and are a great "filler" when the others are between blooming:

A bee on some blossoms in the woods:

My "almost white" Iris in my garden.
(They are all gone now, sigh):

You can be sure I will have all of these
on my screensaver
when the howling snow
comes outside
my window
in just a few months!!!
(I have to keep my sanity SOMEHOW then, right?)

Love the texture of the bee on composite flower photo. All are wonderful and make me want to start the flowering season over. It is all too fleeting.

Iris photos are always my favorite. Great shots as always. I have my sunset photo already. One with porta potties in front of it and one without.

Brian: I love that flower too...but in reality, I haven't met a flower I don't like. ha

Eva: I hadn't either before getting that one!

Arti: SO glad you found my blog..I am always happy to welcome new people...I hope you became a Follower..I will check to see if you have a blog today and stop by too!

Linda: It sure is fleeting...especially up here so far north! Did you see I revised the July photo entry post and included yours? Thanks for being so gracious in accepting my apology.

L.D. Oh how funny...the one with the porta potties could have been used for the ACTION/MOTION theme too. hahaaa

Pat: I know! I had never seen one like that before I got that one, either.

RNSane: That is for SURE!

The orange and white iris is gorgeous, love those colors. Maybe Betsy will know the formal name. Our flowery screen savers will make the winter months a little easier, maybe.
