S.O.S.!!!!!

Fellow Bloggers.....

I
Need
YOUR
help....

I am back home in Michigan after a long trip to Florida and back.

I tried to load pictures onto my blog when I was away (using my MAC) but they wouldn't load.
I figured it was my Mac.

But, it wasn't.
Now that I am home on my big computer, it still won't let me load photos onto a new blog post.

I believe it has to do with the "new" formatting that Blogger has.

Everytime I try to load a photo it says it is rejected.
Does ANYONE out there know how to fix this or how to send them an email?

I went to their blogger help site and many other people said they tried fixing it by changing it back to their old editor under settings and back.
I tried to do all the suggestions everybody else tried to no avail.
Of course I am upset.
So....
anyone out there have a solution or a shortcut to email someone on blogspot.com to help me????

P.S.
Go below to read the latest "prepublished" blog post..thank goodness I prepublished some before I got back and had this ongoing problem.

Thanks everyone...be patient...I will be back posting again as soon as I can get this solved!!!

Missed all of you!!!

If they're on your computer, you can upload them to: www.tinypic.com

Then cut and paste the URL into a Blogger post. That's what I do because I don't like the way they upload pics here.

I wish I could be helpful, but I found Blogger to be impossible to get help from. You can't call or email anyone. The expect you to get help from other bloggers.

I was using their new format for backgrounds etc. but found that it kept coming up error every time I tried to upload more than two pictures so I went back to the old version and will wait till they have the bugs cleaned up. Not sure if that is why you are having problems but it was mine. Works fine now. Good luck Joan!

Maybe you remember I had this problem a while ago, while we were still in Texas and it was, I guess, because I had not switched to the new blogger in draft thing. I haven't had any photos to upload since then so can't help ya. Where are you uploading from? I mean what photo program did you normally grab photos from?

I am still using the old version and I also don't have that many pictures to upload, I do hope you find someone who can help you.

So glad you are home safe and sound. Hopefully you are having good weather, our sun is out today and I love it....:-) Hugs

JJ: I tried that just now and it works! So, until blogger gets its sh-- together,I will have to do this extra step. Thanks so much!

Brian: Thanks so much. I will follow JJ's advice until blogger is fixed.

Eva: Right you are! I am doing what JJ said (above) until I see that Blogger has fixed its glitch.

Ginnymo: I am using an outside URL like JJ mentioned to do (see her comment above) and that is working until Blogger gets itself straightened out. What would I do without my blogger friends? :0}

Cathy: Normally, I just download my own photos into my external drive and grab them from there...it has always worked perfectly, even during the switchover by Blogger to the new format...now it just says "server rejected" when I load a photo.
But JJ gave me a site to load my photos and then I can click now on load from a URL on the new blogger program and it loads them okay...it is an extra step though, which I don't like. I hope Blogger fixes the glitch soon!

Bernie: JJ told me a way around the new Blogger program until they get it fixed....I have been reading and alot of folks are having the same problem so hopefully they will fix it soon. Our weather is cold but sunny...in the low 50's and sunny...I got home in time to see my tulips in bloom and my cherry tree is in bloom too...pictures will be coming on my blog posts soon. ha Baby is much better...went to the Drs. today and got a clean bill of health. I am one happy Grandma!

I'm glad I could help! : ) I don't load nearly as many pictures as you do, but I'm so used to doing it this way that it takes no time at all.

Picasa will also work to upload your photos and paste! That's what I use. Good luck - sorry to hear you're having problems!!

Hi Joan, Looks like you are getting lots of help with your photo problem.

I tried at one time to change to the new editor--but had so much problem that I switched back to the old editor. I've never had any problems at all...

Glad you got home safely.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Joan,
I had this problem when I was on Blogger, and it turned out that I needed to buy more storage space. You probably have to do that too, since you post so many photos. Go to your Google account info and buy storage - it's around $20 for a year. That should resolve your problem...but it may take a few hours for the system to tell Blogger that you have more storage again.

I am no help here but wanted to say, hi, I have had a terrible cold and so have been absent. But feeling better, no voice, but John is enjoying that. Giggle.

It sounds like a storage problem to me..once you get to your limit you cannot upload any more photos until you buy more space.

I have a new template, but I switched back to the old editor ( That is found in your settings..you have to pick old or new..)
I hope you get it figured out! :)

Rainfield: As long as I have a way to load pictures, I am happy. But Blogger really should have a better system to help us when things go south!

JJ: So far it is working. I did go back and try the old setting and it worked again, but I couldn't enlarge my photos on it like I used to, so I went back to using your system.

Shelley: Yes, I have Picasa to do the editing, so I could use that too, I guess...

Betsy: with the old editor, I used to be able to enlarge the photos using the html settings, but I tried it again now that I was having trouble and it won't let me, so I didn't go back to old editor....

Marydon: Thanks so much, that was so nice to tell me!

Georgie: that is quite alright, I am getting suggestions from lots of folks..as long as you keep reading, that will be great!

Strawberry: I hope it gets back to normal..until then I will do what JJ recommended.

Lynn: I already did that once...and it wasn't long ago. I am beginning to think Blogger is a racket...ha

Carol: I hope you get better soon....read me as you recouperate..I have missed you!

Far Side: I already purchased more space from them...I am wondering if this is going to be ongoing with them..if so, I will definitely be continuing with an off-site storage and transfer by URL or switch off blogger to another blog system!

I didn't read all your visitors posts so someone might have answered. We are having to switch all of our sites to Word Press if they had a blog. Blogger stopped letting your upload via ftp so that is your problem. You will either have to go with blogger and do a new blog or switch like us to using WordPress or something else.
