Florida Vacation Photos: Part Eleven

I am continuing with photos from our trip to Florida in December.

This is the second one of two on some photos I took at the St. Petersburg Aquarium.

The Aquarium sits at the end of a pier in this building, which also holds some gift shops:

Some more of the gorgeous bottom plants and sealife in the tanks:

I loved all the colors, textures and movement at the bottom of the tank.

A closeup of another one.

Look at the textures.

Don't you wonder what they feel like?:

By the way, Nemo says HI:

Isn't this one a beauty too?:

See how the little green seahorse blends right in?

He was just gently floating among the green plants:

Bunches of fish would just slowly swim by as I took pictures.

It is exceptionally calming to watch:

Ooooo...more "bubble plants" to look close at:

Maybe this is what our skin looks like when we get goose pimples?

I love watching tropical fish. It is very calming. I've thought about getting a screen saver of tropical fish but figured I wouldn't get any work done. I couldn't get your seahorse photo to load but I might try again later! Your photos are so pretty. Vibrant.

You do know that the blue fish below Nemo is the costar in that movie. I think that you have taken some wonderful aquarium shots. Your camera and you are the best.

Lovely pictures of sea life...I find aquariums so mesmerizing. I never tire of them yet I've always been to lazy to put one in my home.

More beautiful shots, I love it. The second one down almost looks like blue fabric. I also love seeing the little green seahorse, he is so cute.

Sara: Thanks so much!

Bernie: I am so glad you liked them!

Cathy: You must be on the road and able to get wifi! Hope your trip is going well.

L.D.: Thanks so much!

Lucy and Dick: Yes, I was glad to "catch" the fish (smile).

RNSane: Me too, plus I wouldn't want to clean the tank or worry if we went on a trip as to who would feed them.

Rainfield: Yes, I am glad that they all didn't glare from the glass.

Brian: Thanks!

SquirrelQueen: Yes, I really thought the green seahorse was neat when I spied him in the tank.

JJ: Glad you liked them!

Fish are calming to watch, but hard to clean out a big aquariium

The Retired One said...

Betsy: I wish I had one of my own, but they take special talent to keep everything alive and a lot of maintenance.

Kearsie: That is exactly how I felt...but I controlled myself and didn't reach in the tank. Besides, I don't know what pirana's look like.

Grannyann: I am sure! That is why I don't have one.ha

That looks like a really great place to have an aquarium. I like that first blue creature. I love that color. And seahorses have always been some of my favorite animals. Great pictures of everything.
