I can't get them out of my mind....

I am like most of you...

in mourning
over
those precious little souls
lost
in the school shootings this week.

I just can't get them out of my mind.

Recently, I visited a local cemetery
and
found this lovely angel headstone.

She looked forlorn to me,
and
sad.

Now, she has taken on new meaning to me
as it seems she is looking down from
heaven
onto the earth
and wondering,
like us...
how this could happen................

May God be with all the families in compassion and strength.

Lovely post. Yes, it weighs heavily on the minds of many. Since we had our grandchildren Friday afternoon into Saturday afternoon, we did not hear or see any news. This morning I just couldn't watch the Sunday morning talk shows. What is there to say? We only feel.

Yes, and may they rest in peace! We also have more than 1 thousand (~1800) people who died two weeks ago from the supertyphoon Pablo in Mindanao, some few hundreds still missing. And those living are just alive without homes, food and clothes. Even the evacuation buildings were not spared. Vegetation is totally destroyed and rivers made different routes, bridges destroyed.

I guess both the living in yours and my scenarios are sad and mourning, i wonder who gets to move on faster! May all of them be at peace!

Yes, me too. Such a tragedy and my heart goes out to the families of all the victims of that madman.

A wonderful tribute for this devastating event. Meanwhile I wish you a wonderful Christmas season and hope you will have time to call by and listen to the music on News From Italy over the holidays.
