Glimpses of this past autumn
from where I live.
(I know, I am a lucky lady.)
A bend in the colorful river:
Dripping with color!:
Gold leaves in the sun:
Raindrops on glorious leaves:
While looking at the leaves with my macro lens, I got a wonderful surprise!:
Water and rocks!:
Peeking through the grass at the pond:
Loved those trapped red leaves in the riverbed:
And now?
We are head over heels into winter...
we have about a foot of snow
and
cold, cold temperatures.
I hope to get out and get some shots for you of our winter, too.
As soon as my new long johns arrive in the mail......

really really hard to pick a favorite today, i thought the first one was, it is stunning, but now i am thinking tthe second spider web shot. wow oh wow on your find. don't you just love the way the sun finds the leaves and other things and just SHINES them for the camera. i love photos with sun paintings

All of the pictures are wonderful,but by far my favourite is the first one. I love everything about it.

Teh first picture took my breath away and then I came to the ones with the spider's web.... going for a lie down now, to recover... smiles.
Me again. I wonder if I could use your top picture for a birthday card. It's soon to be my friend's 80th birthday and I know she would love that autumn scene.
