Mexico Adventure: Part THREE

Closeup photo of that barebones tree in the courtyard...I really liked it!:

There were many cruise ships that came in close to our resort...part of the reason is that some of the ports in Mexico were no longer considered safe for cruiseship passengers (so sad!)
and part of the reason is because this is such a pretty spot
and the huge rock outcroppings at the end of the
Baja peninsula are so picturesque and well known:

I love palm trees...
and fan palms:

Ahhhhh....palm trees!!:

Brilliant sunshine on the fountain, late in the afternoon!:
Wanna join me in the chairs?

Love long, long grass in the sun and wind....

Speaking of sun and wind...
have you ever done THIS?:
(nope that is NOT me.) In fact, my sister-in-law saw someone fall and DIE last year
from one of these hang-gliders. Seriously.  I always wanted to try it before she saw that.
Not so much anymore....

One lonely flower on a bush:

A view looking on the other side of our resort, (the opposite from the beach)
where you can see the mountains in the background.
We wish we would have had more time to take a trip up there too!:

Gosh, it looks like you had a great time! I've never wanted to parasail, but I do want to go ziplining!

Joan, I love the fanned greenery; how gorgeous since it's so different than what we have here. The parasailing; no, you can keep it for the younger generation. I like my feet planted firmly on the ground :)

I just enjoyed all the photographs you have given there mostly the closeup photo of that barebones tree in the courtyard and the palm tree also. Mexico is a beautiful place that you have captured here. sharing is always grateful to me.

You've got some gorgeous photos of the resort and cacti! I can't wait for you to show us those rocks! :o)

Baja California is on my bucket list... I was very frustrated I never got to go back when I lived in Mexico! My parents wouldn't let me travel with just friends (too dangerous), and when they finally promised the next family trip would be to Baja... my dad got transferred to Florida! sniff!!!

Did you see any of the grey whales? You were there at the perfect time of the year! Grey whales migrate down from Alaska to calve their pups in the warmer waters of the sea of Cortez in winter months... it's why I so desperately wanted to go! *someday*...
