Bond Falls in the Winter
photos in the series....
Love the center ice!:
And this one in Black and White:
One part of the river had all this collected frozen FOAM!
It was fantastic!:
The frosted bottom of the falls!:
We couldn't climb down there to get the view looking UP the falls
as it was a huge ice cliff with no way to do it unless you were an ice cliff climber!
Look at this lacy ice overhang!:
Bundle up,
get out there.....
Mother Nature has great things to show you this winter!!

The last photo is great with what looks like golden water flowing over the side. Very nice photos today. Hope you have a super great Valentines Day.

I love the icy overhang...never saw such a thing! Again, the photos are stunning and spectacular and just thankful you shared them with me! ...cause it really is 'all about me!'
Happy Valentine's Day!
You have a lot of fun with the river and all it's falls. It would be so great to live to this. I would enjoy it continually.
I have "fallen" in love with these pictures!
Happy Valentine's Day to you!
I love the flowing water effect you get. I have to learn how to do that.
You've definitely bonded with your blogging audience! I gave your blog a little shout out.
These are wonderful images. Each one shows different aspects of the falls.. all in different ways. Very creative and beautiful.
You continue to blow me away with these waterfall photos! They are beautiful!
Great photos Joan!
I hope you are having a nice Valentine's Day!
These are fantastic! I didn't know ice could be so beautiful. :D
Wonderful photos Joan, and that second one looks like a painting!
You have such the photographer's eye Joan! Loved these - such a beautiful side of winter. I'm getting excited for the warmer weather. Hoping we can connect again this spring/summer. I think Hubby & I are going to take a driving tour through the UP and try to explore as many "nooks and crannies" as we can. Stay tuned!
P.S. I'm Shelley Moses-Martinez on facebook.
