You say you haven't ever gone to
an
antique car show?
No?
Well, then---
go and read the last two blogposts (below this one)
and then come back up
and we
will continue
on your tour, together....
Look at this cute little red car!:
A Crosley...(whatever THAT is!)..
I just know it was adorable!:
(Pay no attention to the lady's reflection in the tire..you know, the one holding the camera)
Look at the cool insignia!:
"A fine car"--indeed!
And the dashboard!!
Just TOO CUTE!:
These shiney, shiney Chevy's wheels....
It makes me wanna hum: "drove my Chevy to the levie and the levie was dry..":
It also has the neatest tail lights and rear.
I know.
It sounds like I am obsessed with rears.
I just can't help myself:
I LOVED the suitcases and rack on this classic car....the perfect touch!:
Another gorgeous dashboard:
I know.
I KNOW>>>>>
ANOTHER rear picture.
See?
It's a sickness, I tell 'ya:
And of course, I had to do some of the photos in Sepia.
Because they BELONG to be taken in Sepia.....
So THAT is what the front seat looked like....
who knew?
I seem to remember the back seat's details a bit more...
Hmmm....
funny about one's memory, isn't it???

They must have spent a lot of time on their cars, certainly they do not have time for blogging.
There's a diner up the street that hosts "Cruising" on Tuesday nights. Classic car affecionardos come to display their prizes. I'll have to go some Tuesday with my camera and see what I can come up with. Love the wheel with your reflection in the hubcap!
The last car, the Mercury is one I remember more than the others.
Oh My----I truly recognize some of those cars. I've heard of a Crosley --but I guess it's like the Nash (which disappeard)....
The Chevy is from MY day... My boyfriend had one similar to that one... OH--the fun times we had in that car... ha ha
Have a great weekend, Joan.
Hugs,
Betsy

Love the colors here! The sepia tone really sets a mood too!
beautiful vehicles...love the styling...the sleek lines...and the dashboards were so cool...mine just seems so bland in comparison...
Great cars, great photos, great memories! I especially loved the sepia photo! I've always loved sepia toned photos of vintage things. They make me feel like the past is simply fading away and one day will vanish completely.
I have NO SKILL at all for photography. In fact, I have rotten luck when it comes to photos!! (I wrote about it here http://mellodeemusings.blogspot.com/2009/11/kodachrome.html ) But I do love seeing others photos.....sooo, you got me! I'm your newest follower!
