I had to attach this local police report from June 18th, because I got a case of the giggles from one of them.
I loved the one from 6:37PM which reads:
"A box full of stuffed animals, a garter and some ammunition fell out of a vehicle."
SHIT.
I never get invited to the really good parties!!!!!!

No, the other one is very hard to picture: how you sit in a lawn chair while knocking on a door? :-)
BTW, how often do you use that 18X zoom, and do you use a tripod with it? I'm looking at a camera within my price range with a 5X and 10 megapixels.
Me either, lets have one! I can come up with the stuffed animals and maybe an old garter from my wedding(27 years ago). Can you get your hands on some ammo??

How funny. I thought maybe the next entry about the runaway may have been the person who had her stuff fall out of the car changed her mind and went home.
I like the incident at 9:59 a.m. as well - "Verbal disagreement." The police would be awfully busy if they monitored all the verbal disagreements in my house! LOL
I wonder if my newspaper does this sort of thing... We seem to have an endless supply of morons around here :o)
Do you think the dead siamese cat on the bike path had anything to do with the ammo?
LOL-
Really, these are too funny!
DJan: I use my 18X zoom EVERY DAY...it is the best feature of the camera, by far, because it gets things enlarged crystal clear...so if you can get a bigger zoom it is better. According to my photography class I just took, she said the megapixels are better than they used to be and that the zoom is a good feature to watch for when you buy a digital.
Chicamom: In the U.P. ammo getting is NO problem...lots of deer hunters here! Let's party! :-D
Grannyann: Up here, you never know..could've been the same person in three or four of these entries. ha
Lesley: Job security for the police up here, too! Plenty of "verbal disagreements". ha
VaBookworm: Yes, I am sure there are plenty in every community.
Sue: I sure hope not! I love my kitties!
Your right, we missed a good party...we probably would of made it a great party. I love these, I wish we had a police report in our small town....that would be a hoot!
Thanks for the chuckle... :-) Hugs
LOL...dead Siamese cat? They call police for that???
I love these types of things. It cracks me up what people do.
Maybe it was a groom or a caterer late for a Yooper wedding???
See, what had happened was, this guy cleaned out his wife's closet after she ran off with the water cooler guy and that's how he found the stuffed animals and garter from her fourth marriage. He threw those into a seemingly empty box he found behind Walmart that he didn't know had been one of the moving boxes for the Thug Lord of Minnesota or Michigan or Montana (one of those M states where it's cold) when he moved to a nicer three bedroom town house with a 2 car garage. Hence the ammunition.
That other guy with the lawn chair is just a traveling lawn chair salesman who sometimes uses his lawn chair as a demonstration for how comfy it is and convenient to use with its handy cup holder. That beer bottle in the cup holder was purely coincidence.
Hmm...I'll have to remember that next time I'm traveling w/ my stuffed animals that the hubby needs to hand over some of that amunition! You never know what could happen! LOL!!
You might be a redneck if . . .
; )
There must be one crazy messed up little girl who's looking for her stuff. At least she won't be able to shoot anyone.
Bernie: It is so hard to believe that people call these things in AND that they happened!
Dreamwalker: Apparently! And they call in for even stupider things!
Gardener: And that people call in the stupidest things to the police too!
Cathy: Now that makes sense. ha
Kearsie: All righty then....
Shellmo: we need to see if that garter fits you....you will be the number one suspect!
New England Life: Oh yes, it certainly sounds redneck, doesn't it?
Ratty: Maybe it was a guy who loves woman's garters...(and stuffed animals!) ha
Love your blog and sense of humor...and the U.P.
Coming to Marquette from Calif. next September for my husbands
50th college reunion...over Homecoming weekend. Colors should just about start to change.
Keep up the good work...you make me smile and chuckle.
