Nope.
This blogpost is NOT about a river....
but rather about
the wonderful, beautiful swans we caught by surprise one day in the woods at my
favorite beaver pond....
It is so lovely to see them out in the wild....
These were here one day and we went back and they were gone..probably just migrating through our area..
I am so blessed to have been able to see them during their journey north!
Lovely pictures. They are gorgeous birds and you captured that beauty very well.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Swans are so graceful, I love them.
ReplyDelete'hugs from afar'
And we are blessed that you captured those beautiful photos and shared them with us. They are such majestic birds. The reflections you've caught on the water are amazing!
ReplyDeleteSwans are such elegant water birds and so loyal. I believe they mate for life.
ReplyDeleteJoan, they are gorgeous! so graceful....
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful. Funny how their reflections match the trunks of the white birch(?).
ReplyDeleteWe have swans on our lake, but they hide from all the tourists. I can find them if I go back in a few areas - but they charge the boat. I don't mess with swans.
ReplyDeleteHowever, once in a while, in a magical moment, I'll be floating and reading by my dock and I'll look up to see these beauties afloat a couple of feet from me. Not certain whether to be scared or privileged. I don't waver much so I appear a non-threat. So fun so see them so close.
Wonderful reflections!! I wish I could get out and shoot this time of year!! So, I will just live thru' your shots!
ReplyDeleteThey sure are beautiful birds. It looks so peaceful there. I could sit there all day and just watch the wildlife.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to catch up on everyone's blogs.
