Today, I am going to show you a
collection of photos
I took over July and August of this year...
Just a hodgepodge
of
the joys of nature!
Maybe this isn't too much joy for SOME people...
especially those that are allergic to bees, but
I think they are beautiful creatures:
Check out the glowing, Alien eyes on this deer!
We were riding in the woods at dusk and I caught her in my flash!:
Goat's beard, all in bloom!:
Delightful pansy faces in my garden:
A pale pink Musk Mallow:
An old metal fire engine wheel in sepia:
A duck that was playing right beside our dock!:
While riding on our windy lake on our bumpy boat, we spotted some Mergansers, so I attempted
to get some pictures of them:
The shot is a bit grainy...it is the only way I could focus it clearer for you!
I am trying to get caught up on many of the photos
I have taken this summer
so that when the leaves change colors up here,
I will be current with my photos of them for you..
We went in the woods last week, and I see hints of the leaves changing up here
already!! So it won't be long before I am posting
the gorgeous U.P. autumn photos for you!!
the pansies faces are so beautiful..but the wagon wheel is the one that took my breath today...
ReplyDeleteNice pictures! We are going to try really hard to get up there this year, even if it only for one night! It't been forever since I have been in the UP in the fall!
ReplyDeleteWhen I retired from my current working life, I'll enjoy something like you are doing now.
ReplyDeleteWhat? I am actually doing right now?
LOL.
Have a nice day.
Love those photos. Wish I could have time to snap away. Maybe in few years time when both my sons start working. Hope you have a great week end ahead.
ReplyDeleteYou are an amazing and talented photographer!
ReplyDeleteI really like the wheel! That is awesome and especially done in the sepia. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat absolutely beautiful shots of nature. I think bees are quite lovely, too. The deer is a treasure of a shot, as is Ma Duck! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful... each and every one.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed all the photos, Joan. I know what you mean about left over photos and trying to use them before autumn arives.
ReplyDeleteYou know I love the bee, the closer the better. I really like the wagon wheel but it is also good to see your ducks again.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo of that Bee!! And the deer is nice also. I like how the animals have glowing eyes when a flash photo is taken. That's the only way I know some animal is in the woods at night sometimes..Ha!
ReplyDeleteSo many great photos. Each one of them unique from the others. I like the deer's glowing eyes. The bee is beeutiful. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI am going to send you my camera. Please train it to take pictures like these and then send it back to me. Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful Joan, looking back over the beginning of your blog until now you have only gotten better (if that is possible) Love all of these....:-)Hugs
ReplyDeleteThey are all excellent photographs, but the old fire engine wheel is my personal favourite.
