Time again for Local Police Posts!!!

Here is another local police report: If you can't read the small print, here is the first one:

9:05am: "Dog trying to get into school, 600 block of N. Front."

The poor dog probably missed its little boy or girl. But to call the police?
What was the dog doing that was threatening?
Couldn't they just bring it to the humane society?
Maybe he was smart and wanted some schooling. But, call the police? What were they going to do? Arrest him? (If so, they better bring an extra set of handcuffs for his back legs, like in my previous blog's poodle story).
Another: "Book him, Dano..For slobbering, 101."
What is with it with the DOGS in these police news stories????

The second one said:

1:51pm: No parking sign lodged under a vehicle, Lakeshore and Spring."

Now, this driver is another one of my heros.
Who has the balls to hit a no-parking sign, continue to drive over it and then, (what-the-hell): PARK on TOP of it????
Woo-hoo! That takes courage.
(Or maybe they decided to "hide" it by parking on top of it. But, either way...pretty ingenious!

  1. I am trying to make sense of the last picture. So far, all I've come up with is that it is Gloria Estefan in need of a bra and really angry about it.

  2. There is no difference between the policemen here and there. I wonder what they will do next, hopefully not chasing a dog unclothed.

  3. Maybe the dog wanted to learn to read, lol.
That "No Parking" sign story is hysterical.
Thanks for the laughs this morning :)

  5. I think the person that ran over the sign is my hero too. Way too many times I've thought about running over signs like that and never did it.

  6. Kearsie: And...she ran over the no parking sign. Woohoo, you GO girl!!

Rainfield: How could you tell if the dog was naked? :-D

Midlife: A dog that reads, now that would make it more intelligent than SOME folks I have met. ha You are welcome for the laughs. It IS Monday, after all!!

    Sara: I know. Poor doggy!

Brittany: What makes me even madder is when I see someone parking in a handicapped spot and it is obvious they aren't handicapped...they RUN in and buy cigarettes and come back out in a hurry, feeling they are just too important to walk an extra 20 steps!

  10. Obviously it was a criminal in a dog costume.

And, no parking signs have been known to blow up when under cars, sending shrapnel everywhere so...these were pretty serious incidents, you see...

  11. maybe the cops have nothing better to do in that town than arrest a dog - LOL! And if I ran over a parking sign - I certainly wouldn't stay parked on top of it!

  12. Insanity Kim: A criminal in a dog costume? And he wanted an education? Now, that's a twist I wouldn't have bet on!
and the shrapnel? Maybe that is why I lost my last muffler?

Shellmo: I wonder who looked UNDER the car and saw that to report it to the police? What were they doing looking UNDER cars?????

  13. I feel sorry for the dog. But the no parking sign story is funny. I know who would do something like that. My dad. He's a living combination of Crocodile Dundee and Yosemite Sam, the good and the bad sometimes. He would do something like that just because he was annoyed by the sign.

  14. Maybe the dog was looking for the parking sign!

    Voila, problem solved!

  15. Ratty: That explains a LOT about you...you like to cheat and break the rules, too...you admitted it yourself! So I can call you CrocYo or DunSam!

Lynn: I think the dog would more likely be searching for a fire hydrant, but you never know! Either way, he'd be pissed off, No? hahaaaaaaa

  16. LOL that is hilarious. Thanks for sharing...

  17. What a stupid, thoughtless caller! If they had any heart they would have tried to find the dog's owner because, as you said, the dog probably missed his little master/mistress coming out of school.

  18. Hello there! what do you mean by is it worth it? you mean if entrecard can really increase your readers, I would say not really but there is a chance.. if you have a lot of credits, use it to advertise on other entrecard users.. (now you gave me an idea on what to blog next about entrecard)
I am also new on advertising to other users so I have no idea yet if it can affect my traffic, but I guess it is worth the try. I will keep you updated on it.

  22. Marissa: Thanks and welcome aboard!!
You will have to take another photo to post on your site. I ended up taking a group photo and cropping it down myself, because I couldn't find one that worked either.
Do you know why I can't put your site on my blogroll? Is it because you are not on Blogspot???
