I googled the name of this dam and found your pictures.........My son is a student at MTU and he went to that lake with two friends to go fishing today! They were as surprised as you were! His friend had his camera with him and also took some incredible shots. He took pictures of the water running under the open dam too........ He posted them on facebook and when I saw them I called my son to ask him about it. My son didn't know too much -- just that they found out it was being repaired. They did, however, come home with A LOT of nice fishing lures that they found in all the tangles! <br /><br />I found your pictures when I was looking for more info so I wanted to tell you how nicely your shots turned out. I will tell my son to look at your pics too.
