We still are all white here with snow...so today I decided to post more pictures from early of 2012 that I haven't shared yet.
Marsh Marigolds....
Bloodroot!....
Waiting for the snow to melt here, so these beauties will re-emerge from the forest floor, here they are still under more than 3 feet of snow....
Are you getting your spring wildflowers yet?

Beautiful! I would have to dig through several feet of snow to find where the wildflowers will eventually show up.
wow...i feel like it could fall right into your pictures....ha....those bloodroot pics in particular...spectacular...
these are really awesome photos...
I have tips of green of daffodils showing and the rose bushes have greening stems at the bottom. All other things are just brown and look dead.
nothng but snow, ice, frozen ground here. Not a bloom in sight. Lovely to see these photos.
Gorgeous pictures! We have some early spring flowers coming up, like crocus and daffys, but no wildflowers quite yet. I'm watching... :-)
Still waiting for the arrival of Spring. Sick to death of grey skies, the cold and snow and ice but I did enjoy your sunny pictures,
Beautiful photos ! Oh I do wish spring would fully appear here winter just doesn't want to leave !
We're due back the first week of April. I don't want to come back, until the snow is gone, but by the looks of things that might be June or July!!! Beautiful wildflower photos!!
Such a lovely and encouraging sight. It's still pretty cold, icy and a bit snowy here for spring flowers. But it can't be TOO much longer. I hope.
I am visiting and you certainly have a lovely blog. Your post today is especially beautiful since we are seeing little evidence of spring here in western North Carolina..
I am off now to investigate more of your words and beauty....
