It is the only woodpeck...I really like the flicker. It is the only woodpecker that comes into town from the timber near by us. Since I built my feeding tray I have had all sorts of new birds and more birds than ever before. I will be feeding all summer, in small amounts of course. Mourning doves love the tray feeder.
