Spring Beauties and other spring beauty.....

Still working on my spring pictures.

Today, we have turtles and wildflowers for you!

I always love spotting the "first" turtle in the wild woods every spring...it just confirms that Spring really DID arrive!:

My photography instructor told us to find a photo of "texture".
This is one of the finalists, but I did not pick it for my class project.

But I do love the texture of the wisps!:

This wildflower is called "Spring Beauty":

This one is called "Trout Lily":

We saw this very ODD root on a little pond...doesn't it look like a snake?:

More "Spring Beauties":

Trout Lily up close!:

As you read this, I am out taking mid-summer photos for you....
This Spring and Summer has been extremely busy so I hope to post again soon...

I hope your summer is going wonderfully for you and bringing you joy and happiness!

wow, it does look like a snake and every one of these has lots of texture in it, and all are fantastic, so you must be getting A's in photography school.

I'm catching up. Great texture photos in the last two posts, and I do love the lovely early spring bloomers.

Your photos are stunning. I like the idea of looking for texture in a photo.

They are beautiful shots. I really like spring because of all the neat flowers that shoot up from nowhere.
