More summer butterflies.....

As predicted, we got hit with another huge snowstorm a few days ago.

But for today,
we will once again revisit late summer.....because I don't want you to get tired of snow pictures!

And who can think of summer without
butterflies???

Two beauties:

Have you ever seen a butterflies EYES????:
(holy moley!)  But his wings were all chewed up...so maybe he still is in trauma. LOL

An orange beauty:

Two bees and two butterflies! Do you see them all???

I love these pastel yellow butterflies, but they are very hard to photograph, especially in the sunlight.
They have a pink rim on the outside of their yellow wings, but it is hard to see in this shot.
They are lovely:

These shots make me so melancholy as I am sitting beside a window overlooking
my yard full of white.....Next blog pictures will be more  of our winter snow....stay tuned!!

Those are some gorgeous and amazing photos!!!
Sadly since we're a bit shy on flowers around here in summer, it means we don't get too many butterfiles either. :o(

Glorious photography! Just breath-taking...

And I love the (is it called "bouka"?) effect of up-close being clear and distance being hazy. Or visa-versa. LOVE it. You must have a wonderful camera.

Mine doesn't dooooooo that. But once in a while, I will get a pic which shows it. And I'm happy as a kid in a candy store. :-)

I agree with you, the butterflies and flowers do cheer when the weather is foul outside. The pictures are beautiful.

Gorgeous pictures. The butterflies might almost like the weather here today. All the snow has melted, but I am sure we will get more,at least I hope so.

Beautiful.
I still see a few butterflys but off at a distance. I guess I'll have to wait till next spring.

Goodness, after seeing all your snowy photos below I would imagine you were ready to see some flowers and butterflies too.

All of the butterflies are so pretty. I love your shot with the bees and butterflies.

These beautiful butterflies make the lovely plants & flowers appear so sublime !

The yellow ones don't want to stand still long enough to be photographed. All your butterflies look great. We have the one butterfly but the second one I have never seen before now.
